Jat Senior Secondary School & D.Ed Training Centre, Jind (Haryana) was established on 13 April 1943 by Din- Bandu Sir Chhotu Ram then minister in the United Punjab, Pioneer of peasantry, labourers and poor Masses. The plant which was implanted by this eminent personality of India has touched the heights of fame and glory by governing bodies , efficient Head of the institution and dedicated staff members. This institution has produced Doctors , Teachers, Technocrats, Engineers, Statesmen, Soldiers and outstanding sportsmen with the efforts, dedication and hard work of the school staff who possess the qualities of integrity, patriotism, dedication and intellect.

Initially, JBT was started in 1959 and till now thousand of teachers have been produced by this prestigious institution. The school has made the proper arrangement of qualitative education with complete infrastructure from nursery to 12thclass. We have made special provision of education for exceptional and poor children. Sports are an integral part of our complete educational process which develops various skills, inculcates the qualities of bravery, honesty and leadership. We have very eye –appealing premises along with the facilities of a spacious library, separate science labs, Geography lab and guidance & consoling cell . Our institution has earned a good name & fame in the field of sports which has produced sportsmen of international glory. Simultaneously, our students and pupil teachers of D.ED have earned good name and have achieved position in the Board Examination and Examination conducted by SCERT. Ours is an ideal leading institution which is advancing by leaps and bounds earning a good name in the field of qualitative education, co-curricular activities and sports arena.
