This website "jsssjind.info" is launched for general public and to introduce the readers to Jat Sr. Sec, School and D.Ed. Training Centre established in 1943 at Jind (HARYANA). We are proud of our prestigious institution which has touched the height of fame and glory by producing Doctors, Engineers, Statesman, Soldiers, Teachers and outstanding sportsmen in the span of 64 years. Initially, JBT or Elementary Teacher training was introduced in this institution in   the year 1959 and till now this institution has produced qualitative Elementary teachers by the efforts of well dedicated and highly qualified faculty members .

To provide qualitative education to the pupil teachers is clearly the cornerstone of any Educational Institution. We are proud of being a family of one of the oldest institutions which was established in pre- independence India , by the pioneer of peasantry and labourers, Din Bandu Sir Chhotu Ram . The "Pursuit for Excellence" has put the JSSS & D.Ed Training centre among the top Educational institutions of Haryana . Presently, the institution is Governed under the Guidance and Dynamic Command of Hon’ble Deputy     Commissioner–Cum Administrator Jat Sr. Sec. School, D.Ed. Training Center Jind.
   
The institution has placed 10 faculty members and other ministerial staff to run the D.Ed centre smoothly . It has a rich library with over 6000 books, well equipped Labs, Computer Room with Internet connectivity, beautiful Sports Stadium, guidance and counseling cell. Discipline and qualitative education is the main focus of the institution and we get this inspiration from our motto "Knowledge Is Power ".
